MELE Program at Honolulu Community College

Mele Program reflection

“The MELE Program is an incredible opportunity for people to learn about the Music Industry. Over the past 3 years, I have been in school full time and working on getting my BA in Interdiscipinary Music Studies (Focuses in Music Production, Songwriting, & Music Business) from Berklee College of Music Online. HCC's MELE Program was a blessing to find because not only did it help me get the most out of my Post 9/11 GI Bill, it gave me an opportunity to develop connections & friendships with like-minded individuals here on Oahu. This “Experience” has been extremely beautiful and I couldn't say enough to express my gratitude for this program! So much love for John Vierra, Eric Lagrimas, and Jon Ross for being exceptional instructors/professors during my journey and I highly recommend checking out this program if you're wanting to get into the music industry.”
